Our Team

A career in ministry wasn’t part of my original plan, but after nine years in public education, God made it clear He had a higher calling for me. In September 2024, I joined FCA as an Area Director after serving as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and administrator in several Illinois districts. My teaching journey began in 2015 at Pekin High School, followed by roles at Woodland and Lexington School Districts, where I also engaged with FCA as a sponsor and participant.
My connection with FCA began in high school at Prairie Central, where friends and I launched a huddle in 2007, and it continued into college with my now-wife, Brittiany, who was a student-athlete at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. Married since 2015, we are now blessed with our daughter, Rowyn, and serve actively at Pontiac Bible Church. I’m honored to be part of FCA and look forward to all God has in store through this ministry.

With over 20 campus, team, and coach’s huddles across LaSalle, Livingston, McLean, and DeWitt Counties, we’re committed to reaching as many coaches and athletes with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus through:
- Camps
- Events (Banquet, golf outings, Coach/Spouse Appreciation Dinner)
- Resources (coach/athlete bibles, devotionals, studies, etc.)
- One-on-one discipleship
Impacting Lives Through Sports + Faith
OUR E3 STRATEGY
Since 1954, FCA has challenged coaches and athletes at the professional, college, high school, junior high, and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We make disciples by engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ—so they can lead others to do the same.

1 ENGAGE
We engage coaches + athletes through genuine relationships sharing our lives + the Gospel.
...so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
1 THESSALONIANS 2:8
2 EQUIP
We equip coaches and athletes to grow in Christ through reading and following God’s Word.
...to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
EPHESIANS 4:12
3 EMPOWER
We empower coaches + athletes to engage + equip others to know + grow in Christ.
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
